Your adventure begins as we embark from the Shilshole Bay Marina, preparing to set sail as we round the break water. Throughout this 3 hour sailing adventure you'll have an opportunity to learn how to sail, or just let us do the work and enjoy experiencing:

The cool ocean breeze.

Spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains, Downtown Seattle, The Space needle, The Great Wheel, Mount Rainier, Large yachts and massive Merchant Marine Containerships.

Wild life such as seals, sea lions, small porpoises, jumping fish and on rare, lucky occasions, Southern Resident Orcas and Humpback whales

Had an excellent experience sailing with Captain Russ on Puget Sound. The Captain was friendly, and inspired confidence in our group, even though we as a group have very little experience being on sailboat. A few of us were wondering if we would experience sea sickness, but we did not at all, even though there were waves and wind gust, we felt well and in good hands. Captain Russ is an enjoyable person to talk to, very pleasant and personable. Sailing on the Sound was a highlight of our time in Seattle. I would highly recommend it to people interested in being on a sailboat, getting away from crowds, and experiencing the natural beauty of the area with a skilled guide.

Russ communicated & met us right on time. It was a beautiful day on the Sound & Russ patiently answered all our questions about sailing & threw in more than a few great stories to keep us entertained! High recommend!

What a great experience! Russ our Captain took us out on the Sound on a perfect day. I told him I was interested in learning how to sail and he was great at explaining tacking. The two spots on the back perch of the deck are wonderful for sightseeing and comfortable experience. We saw porpois and seals as well. The Kingsley was super clean and in great condition. Nice day all around. Thanks Russ!

Wow our sailing trip was better than I was expecting. We saw porpoises and seals and the weather turned out to be just lovely. Smooth sailing, you might say. The weather on the sound can get a little chilly but a wind breaker and sweatshirt were perfect. The clouds also cooperated and we could clearly see Mt Baker, Mt Rainier and the Seattle skyline. Captain Russ was an expert at his craft and quite entertaining. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing day on the water.

What a fabulous way to end our girls weekend! Russ was fantastic- talked enough to let us know what was going on and what we could expect but also was quiet enough that we could socialize with each other and at times just enjoy the sounds of the water. Of everything we did this was our favorite experience and we’d highly recommend it to everyone. I’m hoping someday to return and enjoy it with my hubby.
