My fiancé and I took this during the week due to a Groupon I found for a cave tour two people $55. They let me honor the Groupon there so that was a plus. When we first arrived we were greeted with a glass of wine which was really good. Our group had about 16 people in it but that were avid wine drinkers so it was a lot of knowledge being passed around. The tour was guide was very knowledgeable in her wines and history. Inside the cave we had three more wines and took some pics! The only downfall was I thought we were going to have to walk down a staircase or elevator to go into the wine “cave”. We just walked straight in but it was pretty cool. We went Into a tasting room were we had four glasses of red wine and a dessert wine with a charcuterie board. Our host told us what to try with what wines which made the experience really great! I was very surprised how good the tour was! We spent about two hours in the tasting room with the others of our group while we sipped on wine and told stories, by this time I was tipsy lol. Great experience!!

I was really wishing to write up a great review but this was such a disappointing purchase. TripAdvisor charged me $92 for a wine tour at the beautiful Oak Mountain Winery. My ticket I purchased said 12pm start but when we got to the winery they never got our reservation and they didn’t have any 12pm tours that day only 11:30 so safe to say everyone was confused. It turns out that they no longer accept TripAdvisor tours and have tried on several occasions to get TripAdvisor to remove this offer because they don’t receive any of the profit and you end up paying for something you never receive. Such a waste of money! So please please DO NOT purchase this on this site and just go through the winery itself to secure a spot especially since they are so limited during this time. This is nothing against the winery itself. They are great! This is a complete fraud from TripAdvisor.
